High multiplexing capacity

 In one single test over 100 specific DNA markers can be detected. The simultaneous detection of resistance genes gives you an instant overview and allows combinations of resistance genes to be identified.

Three key components

The platform that the Check-Points assays employ is based on three key components: 1) the Check-Points Array Tube, 2) the Check-Points Tube Reader and 3) the E-Ads software. The Array Tubes and the Tube Reader are manufactured by Alere Technologies GmbH.

Following the amplification step, samples are added to the Check-Points Array Tubes where the detection reaction takes place. The Check-Points Array Tubes are then placed in the Tube Reader which contains a small camera that takes a picture of the array. With the click of a button, the image is analyzed instantly using the E-Ads software.
